Bubblegum Pink

Wearing a more conservative combination of a button-down shirt and jumper dress, I thought I could add some fun to my outfit with bubblegum pink tights. The tights brought out the pretty pastels in the shirt's plaid, a fun and feminine addition to my otherwise basic outfit for interning.
I balanced the pink out with a neutral metallic belt and shoes and added a final touch of fun with my anchor earrings.

Sweet Tooth

As you might have noticed, I'm a sucker for a bold print. Especially a novelty print. If there is something quirky repeated across a fabric, you can guarantee I will want whatever garment it appears on. So how could I help but fall for this amazing Kate Spade blouse and its saltwater taffy print? In high school I had an amazing yellow dress from the 1940s with a candy print that sadly disintegrated, and I am beyond thrilled to be able to replace it with this amazing blouse.This pink blazer I picked up at Zara's recent sale was the ideal compliment. The White Stripes

This simple outfit was the perfect match for a sunny day, even if I got most of my sun in small glimpses over my laptop screen.

This little white dress, a perennial warm weather favourite, pairs well with just about any cardigan and shoe.

Even with a world of coordination options at my disposal, however, I still chose the pair of shoes that matched perfectly.

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

Remember how I said my favourite colour is pink? I wasn't kidding. This outfit makes the bold statement of employing at least four different shades from cotton candy to fuchsia to rose.

While I could have stopped with the blouse and cardigan, adding the belt and shoes took that look from simple to styling. As Mae West said, "Too much of a good thing is wonderful." Try it at home by layering your hue of choice in as many tones as you own!
